Matt Damon, the future Hollywood star entered Harvard in 1988 and took time off during the second semester of his sophomore year to act in "Rising Son," a made for TV movie. Damon stepped out during his junior and senior years as well, and never accrued enough credits to graduate. He left the university in 1992, a semester and 12 credits shy of completion of his Bachelor of Arts in English. Damon finally decided to leave school to pursue acting full time; he made no plans to return to Harvard.
Now, Damon seems to be done with his college experience. In 2011, he went on the Ellen show. He said that he wasn't planning on going back to finish Harvard any time soon.
