I put receive because that is the word that normally goes with give. Some people find it hard to receive, but are good at giving. Other people are the opposite.

But how can anyone give if there is no one to receive .😮 Both sides are needed in this equation. I prefer : 'the sun shines on everyone. Blessed are those who give and those who re cieve.' The Bible also says there is more joy in heaven for a sinner who repents, than a perpetually good person. What help is that when we're all told we're born sinners? See the story of the Prodigal Son and his brother. Who can believe in something so unfair. Of course I'm pleased the son was taken back, but why not more love also for the son who remained faithful to his parents? The Bible is highly suspect for these and many other reasons.
