Colin Hanks played the serial killer Travis Marshall on the 2006 - 2013 U.S. TV series "Dexter". Marshall aka "The Doomsday Killer" was a character in Season Six (2011) of the Showtime series. He committed biblical-themed murders and worked at the Miami Cultural Center as a Conservator in Papers and Bindings (for paintings, artifacts, etc.). He was one of the main antagonists, acting in opposition to Dexter Morgan.

In the series, Travis at first seems like a calm, polite, and sane person. He also apparently did not want to kill anyone, but once he discovers his spiritual leader, Professor James Gellar, is really dead, he starts to embrace his true self. After this, Travis is revealed to have many disorders and does not have any remorse towards anyone.
