Foie gras is known across the world as a delicacy of French cuisine. There is certain evidence that this product was popular even in ancient Rome. Today, it is produced in various countries, but the biggest producer is France, where foiegras is considered one of the cultural and gastronomical heritage of the country.
The flavor of goose and duck liver has only slight differences, though experts on foie gras say that the first one has tender creamy taste, while the second has richer flavor.
In spite of the popularity of the product, various animal rights activists keep protesting against force-feeding as being cruel and inhumane.
I think it's very sad to mistreat the ducks n geese to make a larger piece of meat to serve to people that are so stupid they don't know what that animal went thru, just so they can say they had French cuisine for dinner. Sad, sad, sad.
What animals are used to make Foie Gras? Seems straight up to me. 'What animals' is plural and none of the choices are in singular form. So choose the best option. Duck liver or goose liver are used to make this dish. I found no confusion in this question, for a change!

Unless they've changed the question, it reads, "WHAT ANIMALS ARE USED TO MAKE FOIE GRAS?"
Because they use the word "animals", I would infer they meant the answer would include more than one animal. Besides, the set of possible answers makes that clear, since all the choices list at least two animals. As it stands now, there should be no confusion.
Imho, foie gras causes torment, pain, and discomfort to those animals having to suffer while being force fed to unnaturally distend their livers to give disgusting greedy humans a 'delicacy' for their pallets. It should be stopped. Now.
Foie Gras is protested because the birds are force fed a high fat diet to fatten their livers - and foie gras is made from these fatty livers. Force feeding anything with food unnatural to them is cruel.
And the animal rights activists are correct. NOBODY needs to eat this. Foie gras is made from the grotesquely enlarged livers of ducks and geese who have been cruelly force-fed.
I was force fed foie gras as a child and it made me vomit. I hate the taste and refuse to eat it now. Disgusting treatment of animals to create a disgusting tasting product.
