What is a group of dolphins called?

What did one Dolphin say to the other? Hey man, we haven't won a Super Bowl in decades.

Super pod is not a term I have heard before, but I saw one a few months ago at Port Elliot. Beautiful sight to watch dozens (maybe 100) of dolphins working their way eastwards along the coast, close to shore. Impossible to get an exact count as they were constantly diving and resurfacing as they predated a school of fish.

Pod is also the collective name for hippos

The pod of dolphins goes to school to learn what they are.

I figured that if a group of whales is called a pod well what's good enough for whales is good enough for dolphins, so there. Yay me.

Lynne Zeman, We get the police in locally if anyone tries to get close to the dolphins, they are wild animals and allowed to live in peace. Having said that they come up to within 10 feet of the shore so you shouldn't feel the need to go in with them.

Thought pods was used for whales, I suppose that they both can be a pod considering they are both mammals.

Swam with a couple dolphins in Mexico several years ago. Amazing, clearly intelligent animals. The strength of their tails was extraordinary. Hope they are well.
