A lot of things scare people, and sometimes it's hard even to imagine where these fears come from!

For example, arachibutyrophobia. It's a the fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth. Why would one be afraid of that? Is it that dreadful? Who knows, but arachibutyrophobic people exist and don't deny their special fear. Arachibutyrophobia comes from Greek: arachi meaning ''ground nut'' and phobia meaning ''fear''.

This phobia comes out as any other ones: the symptoms are anxiety, panic and dread, coming with shortness of breath, hurried heartbeat, dry mouth, sweating etc. The underlying reasons for such a fear are traumatic events or even genetic predispositions! Still, it's personal for everyone and a lot of factors count here.
