What is New York City's largest borough by population?
The city of New York is the most visited US city, also being the most populated urban community of North America. The famous metropolis consists of five boroughs, the names of which are also well-known. These are Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island.
The community of the 21st century knows Brooklyn as a place that has experienced a renaissance as an avant garde destination for hipsters, with concomitant gentrification, dramatic house price increases, and a decrease in housing affordability. Brooklyn is the city center of business, high technology and outstanding art and design.
Brooklyn is the most populated borough of NYC. Approximately 2.5 million people live there today, and more and more people are trying to move to this upscale area.

Brooklyn has 2.6 million population and Queens has 2.3 million population as of 2015. Qyeens may have the largest area in Square miles but not in population. Sorry, the question has the correct answer.

Jim Moser , you are absolutely right. I still live in New York and know that Brooklyn is more populated than Queens but Queens is larger than Brooklyn in area. I've lived in every borough in New York City with the exception of Staten Staten Island. Next on my bucket list....LOL

Mary Jarvis, Here is what google says: All boroughs are incorporated into New York City as a whole, and Queens and Brooklyn are on the same landmass, the only two boroughs to do so. Brooklyn is the more populous, with a slightly smaller population than the city of Chicago. Queens has a larger landmass. Brooklyn has more neighborhoods, of a greater variety.
