Just an FYI. Tallow is not used in makeup and never has been. It is too greasy for anything more than shaving soap.

dsneed, Thank you, Diane. A very nice, very well-written comment. I'm a guy, but I appreciate the advice. My girlfriend enjoys having fun with makeup, and she's getting to be pretty good at the application process. However, I fell in love with her from the pictures she bravely sent me early on when she had no makeup on at all. To me she is stunningly beautiful just the way God intended her to be: without makeup and thankfully never crammed into a girdle. She's a gorgeous curvy Latina lady and she never has to hide or disguise her appearance when she's with me. We met in person a few months ago and I'm planning on a return visit soon to start readying the process of moving to her neck of the woods in the hopefully not too distant future. I can spend forever getting list in her beautiful brown eyes, and when we kiss, I don't like to kiss her lipstick. I just love the feel of her lips kissing mine, with nothing coming between us. She's a full-figured girl, I'm a full-figured boy, and she's beautiful and perfect the way she is. I'm very glad and extremely grateful she wants to spend the rest of forever with me. But I didn't fall in love with the makeup, and fortunately she never tries to squeeze into a girdle. She has perfect, natural beauty. And that's what I fell in love with. That, and the fact that she's the sweetest most loving caring person I know. And the most real and sincere person I know. All the makeup in the world can't make you a beautiful person if you have an ugly heart. Fortunately for me? She has a beautiful heart. And she loves me back as much as I love her. dsneed, it’s a personal choice, to wear makeup or not. Some like it, it can be fun and can serve the needs and wants of many. It’s fine if you don’t want to wear any, but others can make make own decisions.

You shower and/or bathe to get rid of body oils and you're putting oil on to accomplish this? You're putting oil on your skin under you makeup? Why? Why are you wearing makeup? Isn't your natural beauty enough? A little goes a long way in makeup. You want to enhance, not cover up. Every day of the year is NOT Halloween - take off the mask for gosh sake. You get that guy home get that stuff off your face and what will he see? Do you even think? Maybe you didn't take off and it's smeared all over your face in the morning. How attractive is that? Is he going to want you now? Honesty is still the best policy. Remember "What you see is what you get"? Well he was right. I so wish I could remember his name right now. (Flip Wilson) Be honest, you take that girdle off and all the real you flops out and flows over your hips. Maybe that's a turn on for him, maybe not. Give him that choice. No false advertising - let them see your natural beauty. Use a little liner, a little shaddow, lipstick - skip the blush. Women look like poorly painted puppets with blush or rouge don't do that to yourself. This where the "Less is More" comes in - let them see your face not your makeup. You think I don't know what I am talking about? I am 74 years old. When I ask people to guess my age the general response I get is in my 50's. I did not dry my skin out with sun and makeup. I would have guessed Lanurin if it had been there. Lanurin is the raw wool grease- a by-product from scouring wool. This is used in face creams as Lanolin. This is why Woolclassers have very soft hands.

With science now, it's developed in many other products now, to avoid using petroleum and where it comes from.
