What is the biggest bíblical sea monster called?
Leviathan is an huge aquatic creature described in the Old Testament. It was a kind of mythological creature, but sometimes the "monster" is said to be a large dolphin or whale. The main lesson of unbeatable Leviathan's appearance in the Bible is that people can not judge God’s activity relative to the earth inhabitants created by Him.
This can be interesting: Today the word "Leviathan" is a synonym for any enormous sea creature or monster.

You should have included the Kraken on the list. And "big lion?" You mean the Nemean Lion? And how about the Hydra instead of something silly like dinosaur? A little more challenging when you throw in Greek mythical monsters.

Ben Totuous, I don't wish to express agreement or disagreement with your opinions on religion, but I would like to ask: why can't we just enjoy the quiz without getting into all that stuff? Do you really think you might possibly change anyone's opinion here, or that anyone here might change yours? What happened to live and let live, to mutual respect for the opinions of people who disagree? Is a question from the Bible less valid than one about Greek, Roman or Norse mythology?

In the Old Testament, there are several allusions to primordial combat between God and a monstrous adversary variously named Leviathan or Rahab. Although the references to Leviathan usually indicate a dragon-like creature, the name has also been used to denote a sea monster in general (see dragon). Also a flying giant in the SyFi TV series "Farscape". Good Show.

The writer if this quiz is in error. Anything, which is written in the Holy Bible, is not mythological. The Holy Bible was written by the Prophets of old through inspiration from the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Bible says it is a Leviathan, then that's what it is. It just may have been only a one of a kind.

Get your names right when u ask questions. The Bible speaks of a big fish, not a whale nor Leviathan. Today there are many interpretations of the Bible and they use so many words that are Not there. This is one such example of bad press
