What is the name of the pig who appeared in the TV series Petticoat Junction?
Petticoat Junction was an American sitcom aired on CBS from 1963 to 1970. It is one of the three shows about country people. The Beverly Hillbillies was the first one and a great success, and the success of Petticoat Junction led to the Green Acres, a spin-off.
Arnold Ziffel is a pig featured in Green Acres, his first appearance was in the second season Petticoat Junction episode "A Matter of Communication".He is a pig treated as the "son" of Fred and Doris Ziffel, who don't have any human children. Arnold was usually played by a female pig, even though he is a male character.

I don't recall ever seeing Petticoat Junction. I remember the faces in the cast lineup of Green Acres. Arnold I wouldn't recognize in a crowd.
