This sporting venue in London, situated in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Hackney, is known as the Copper Box Arena, or more generally, just the Copper Box.

It was originally known simply as the Handball Arena, but the name change reflected the fact that other events, such as the fencing element of the Modern Pentathlon, also took place there during the 2012 London Summer Olympics and the subsequent Paralympics. After the Olympics were over, its sporting remit became far wider, and, with adaptations, it has been used for various sports, including basketball, netball, badminton, and wheelchair rugby.

The building has also been praised for its environmental credentials, with measures taken to decrease the consumption of both water and electricity. It has a seating capacity of 7,000.
