What is the oldest brewery in the United States?

This U.S. brewing company is known as the oldest and (as some call it) the finest operating one. Few people know but the company was established almost 200 years ago - in 1829 and even now the brewery is one of the largest.

Most people think that this beer is quite moderately priced so no wonder that it is very popular in many US states.

It is an interesting fact that originally the title of the company was "Eagle Brewery".

This product of Yuengling is absolutely awesome... The Black &Tan dark lager is by far the best tasting of most domestic lagers in the U.S,A.

Yuengling is my second favorite beer. My favorite beer is Red Oak amber. The Red Oak brewery is located close to Greensboro, NC

It is my favorite brew. Very interesting company story. During Prohibition they made ice cream to survive. The Feds chained off their cooling caves (no electric refrigeration) to prevent storage but somehow two days after Prohibition was repealed they dropped off several cases of beer at the White house much to the administration's chagrin. It is privately held and each generation, going on the sixth, has to purchase the company,. For the first time there are no men in line but there are 4 daughters all of whom work in the brewery that will take it over. Not sure how that will affect the Co name down the road.
