The virus was written by a Dutch programmer on the 11th of February, 2001. The computer worm was designed to make email users open a message that was said to contain Anna Kournikova's photos. However, the message hid a malicious program. If you'd set off the program, it would have sent the worm to all the people listed in the address book.

The virus arrived in an email with the subject line: "Hi! Check this!". That's why you should be more attentive while checking the incoming emails!
