Johannes Francisco's "Jos" Verstappen (born 1972) is a retired Dutch racing driver. He is considered one of the most successful Dutch Formula 1 racing drivers. Since his retirement, he has helped managed his son's racing career. Max Verstappen (born 1997) is on the payroll for the Red Bull Racing team (2021).

Jos Verstappen began karting at the age of 8, and started competing at national competitions during his teens. In 1984, he became the Dutch junior champion and went on to win two European titles. At the end of 1991, Jos switched karting for car racing.

Jos won the German Formula Three championship in 1993, as well as being the Masters of Formula Three winner. He began racing in Formula One for Benetton the following year. He continued racing for various F1 teams until 2003, before leaving to compete in the A1 Grand Prix and Le Mans Series. He retired in 2009. During his professional career, he was nicknamed "Jos the Boss" and "Dutch Devil".

At the 2015 Australian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen became the youngest driver to compete in Formula One at the age of 17. In 2016, he displaced Sebastian Vettel as the youngest driver to win a Formula One Grand Prix. Max is due to remain at Red Bull until the end of the 2023 season.
