What is this car?
DeSoto Adventurer II Concept Car was a true Hemi-powered and Ghia-bodied monster. It was commissioned by Chrysler and designed by Ghia for the European car show circuit. With Chrysler Hemi V-8 power and Italian coachwork, the DeSoto Adventurer II was a novelty similar to the first DeSoto Adventurer (constructed in 1954) only in its name.
The second Adventurer is widely considered to be one of the best and most stylish iconic concept cars of all times.

Paul Baldassarre, I am not familiar with most cars. This one did seem like it was from the 1950's. I chose correctly, not knowing, because DeSoto was the only name I had heard. Thank you, Christine, James' wife

George Oliver Prince, Starting when I was about 8 years old, around 1950, I lost all track of which cars were what. The Influx of all of the foreign models didn't help.

it does have the desoto look to it which hints at the possible answer , which i went for and got it, but still part knowledge, part guess.
