What legendary voice actor played the roles of Barney and Dino?
In addition to voicing Barney Rubble and providing the yapping of Dino on "The Flintstones," Mel Blanc (born Melvin Jerome Blank; May 30, 1908 – July 10, 1989) lent his talents to Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Mr. Spacely (on "The Jetsons"), and many, many more cartoon characters.
During his "Flintstone" years, Blanc was in a bad car accident that forced him to take a break from recording. When he got back to work, recording Barney's lines from his hospital bed, a few episodes had been recorded by a replacement who made Barney's voice much lower, which Blanc continued for the rest of the series.
