What mountain is ranked the highest in distance from the center of the Earth?
Chimborazo (01°28′09″S 78°49′03″W) is a currently inactive stratovolcano in the Cordillera Occidental range of the Andes. Its last known eruption is believed to have occurred around 550 CE. With a peak elevation of 6,263 metres (20,548 ft), Chimborazo is the highest mountain in Ecuador. It is the highest peak near the equator. Chimborazo is not the highest mountain by elevation above sea level, but its location along the equatorial bulge makes its summit the farthest point on the Earth's surface from the Earth's center.

Kathy Brown, This question was asking about the mountain whose peak is farthest from the center of the earth. The explanation says that the equator is further from the center of the earth than other points. So, the mountain closest to the equator, with a great elevation, would be further from the center of the earth than mountains further from the equator. That is what I understood from the explanation, anyway. Thank you, Christine, James' wife

I knew of the equatorial bulge, so figured that the likely answer was the mountain closest to the equator. First thought was Killimanjaro or Chimborazo.
