What team holds the NCAA Division I record of consecutive victories in college basketball?

OLD record was 90, but they set a new record of 111 wins from 2014 to 2017!

Good question. I moved to Los Angeles in January 1974, when UCLA had an 88-game winning streak. The next afternoon, they lost at Notre Dame. I watched at a friend's apartment. Later they got upset in the NCAA tournament, won by NC State.

All of the teams listed as options are high on the record books for consecutive wins. For years I was impressed with Woodens 88 game streak with the UCLA men, then came along Auriemma with the Connecticut women and their 111 game streak.

Went with UCLA men's team's long-standing record. Didn't look at the answer options including women's teams. Rather short-sighted of me. I grew up watching the games with Bill Walton
