Emma Raducanu (born 13 November 2002) is a British professional tennis player and the US Open Champion. She reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 23 on 13 September 2021, and is the British No. 1.

Ranked No. 338 in the world at the time, Raducanu was awarded a wildcard into the main draw at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, and reached the fourth round there in her debut in a major championship.

Two months later, she entered the qualifying competition for the 2021 US Open and, reaching the main draw, went on to become the first qualifier to reach and win a Grand Slam singles final. In the final, Raducanu defeated Leylah Fernandez, winning the title without losing a set throughout the tournament.

She became the first British woman to win a major singles title since Virginia Wade at the 1977 Wimbledon Championships, and the first to do so at the US Open since Wade in 1968.
