What was the Battle of Pusan Perimeter?

The Battle of Pusan Perimeter was a large-scale battle between United Nations and North Korean forces lasting from August 4 to September 18, 1950. It was one of the first major engagements of the Korean War. An army of 140,000 UN troops, having been pushed to the brink of defeat, rallied to make a final stand against the invading North Korean army, 98,000 men strong.

I have been to the UN cemetery in Pusan and it was one of the most moving places I have ever been. It is lovingly tended with beautiful peaceful gardens.

George Oliver Prince, The truth is, that Washington and Wall Street consider any war better than no war. Due to the nature of United States' money system which is based on fiat currency created by a privately-owned central bank (the Federal Reserve bank), and which must be repaid with interest (which is not created by the bank), it becomes necessary to acquire sufficient natural resources which are used to pay interest due on funds borrowed from the Federal Reserve. It is far from being a coincidence that less than 3 years following the Federal Reserve Act becoming law (December, 1913) the United States became involved in WW 1 (1917) and remained in a perpetual state of war ever since, with only brief interludes necessary to replenish war materials and supplies.
