What year was cocaine removed from Coca-Cola?
You might know that the beverage was originally created as a remedy for depression, indigestion and anxiety. The formula included cocaine as a painkiller and soothing agent. Nevertheless, the creator of the medicine had to remove the ingredient from the beverage (Prohibition laws) in 1903.

In Atlanta when I was a kid, you could still hear older people refer to Coca-cola as "dope"
as in "give me a dope, please" since my family had moved there from the midwest, we had no idea what they meant.....apparently, it was still common knowledge about the cocaine which had been removed many years before.
