What year was this bent tubular steel chair designed?
This chair was the first bent tubular steel chair. It was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925 while he was teaching in Germany at Bauhaus, one of the most famous schools of design and crafts.

This design is as famous as Eames bent ply and leather chair. A design that has transgressed time and is still copied to this day. I sit in one at my specialist and pay darely for the pleasure.
