Where is Twentynine Palms located?
As you've guessed, we meant the famous city! It is located in the Mojave Desert, but its elevation is more than 1,000 ft above the sea level. Its climate is a bit milder than that of the desert itself. Nevertheless, it is still tough for people to live in, so the city is under-populated.
The area was named after the famous palm trees found there in 1852.

The correct answer is the middle of nowhere in the Mojave Desert. Not much said about it. The largest US Marines base in the US is located on 29 Palms.
