Where is Valley Forge located?
Valley Forge in Pennsylvania was the site of the military camp of the American Continental Army over the winter of 1777–1778 during the American Revolutionary War. It is approximately 20 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Starvation, disease, malnutrition, and exposure killed nearly 2,500 American soldiers by the end of February 1778.

Like Washington, I was at Valley Forge during the winter. But I was indoors at the Valley Forge Music Fair on New Year's Eve 40 years ago seeing Lesley Gore and Lou Christie.

I have been there. Col. Von Steuben trained the continental troops into a professional army there. We owe him an eternal Danke Shoen, because the Redcoats got quite the shock when we hit the battlefield come summer of 78!
