Where was Alexander Graham Bell born?

Do you know anything about this great inventor? If not for him, there would be no telephones/cellphones/smartphones.

He was born on the 3rd of March, 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1870 he and his parents immigrated to Canada.

Three years later, he became a professor in speech and vocal physiology at Boston University.

While teaching, he also experimented with a means of transmitting several telegraph messages simultaneously over a single wire and also with various devices.

kite005, Right. When the time and technology are right, someone will fill the need. In the case of the telephone, if Bell hadn't developed it, Antonio Meucci or someone else would have.
