an entire generation, who were inspired by Star Wars, to become Scientists... Would, "care to know this"! In fact it's quite possible our technology would be a decade behind, if not for GL's vision. One of the Halmark event's of the 1970's & 80's! I'll stop now. But, wow... Respect Our History.

Charlotte Knight, It's figurative speech for "Make a special effort to". Meaning, it's not easy to comment on, but they do it anyway. Which means he's not really using it correctly, since it is "on the way" - ie, convenient to do so.
