Allen Meyer, I suggest that you go to "You Tube" & look-up her music videos. She had a sound back when she was sixteen, that really catches a person's attention in the moment. Plus, the fact the she looked much more mature in person, surprised a lot of people to find out just how old she was at the time, when the spotlight was on her at the time.

Actually, the birthday of Lorde, was December 7, 1996. I followed her music career early on, when she released the album titled "Heroine" back in 2013. Lorde, was quite surprised at the "Grammy's" when she won two awards for her work. She was so touched by the experience, that she put out a newspaper ad in thanking the people of New Zealand, for their love & support during her musical journey to the top.
