Which aircraft has the largest wingspan of all time?

All these aircraft were considered giants of their time. But the Hughes H-4 Hercules was truly phenomenal. With a wingspan of 320 ft 11 in (97.54 m) this flying boat dwarfed a 777 -- wingspan 235 ft 6 in (71.8 m). Unfortunately, only one was ever built and it only flew once. Briefly.

Incorrect given options. The correct answer would be Stratolaunch!

I dispute the answer to this question. The Antonov An-225 Mriya has a larger wingspan, and just like the Spruce Goose, there is only one of its type.

I don't think you should include an airplane that barely flew, and only once. The Antonov AN-225 had the largest wingspan of all, slightly larger than the Airbus A380.

I was of the opinion that a Russian built plane held all the records for wing span, weight, length & payload. But it’s definitely not the spruce goose which barely flew and was a dead duck long ago.
