Which Alfred Hitchcock directed film was the first to feature Grace Kelly?

Grace Patricia Kelly (1929 - 1982) was a classy stage actress who became an Oscar-winning movie star. In 5 years she starred in 11 motion pictures and, while at the top of her popularity, she left stardom to marry Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956. She died on Sep 14, 1982 after a tragic car crash when she was driving from her country home to the Palace of Monaco.

Her first appearance in a Hitchcock directed movie was in the 1954 crime mystery thriller "Dial M for Murder". Both the screenplay and the stage play were written by English playwright Frederick Knott.

After learning that his wife Margot (Grace Kelly) had a brief affair with mystery writer Mark Halliday (Robert Cummings), Tony Wendice (Ray Milland) decides he's going to kill her and wants to provide himself with an alibi. He intends to blackmail an old schoolmate with a shady past, Charles Swann, to do the killing for him.

He will give Swann a key to their flat and while he and Halliday are out at a dinner, Swann can let himself into the flat and strangle her. It all goes as planned but Margot successfully defends herself, killing Swann in the process. She is convicted of his murder but Tony had planted evidence to suggest that Swann had been blackmailing her. It's left to Mark Halliday and a sympathetic policeman, Chief Inspector Hubbard, to uncover Wendice's plan and get the evidence to arrest him.

She also later appeared in "Rear Window" and "To Catch a Thief" which were directed by Hitchcock.
