Which band wrote and performed the song "My Generation"?

This song was written and performed by The Who. The lead guitarist of the band, Pete Townshend, wrote the lyrics at the age of 20 while travelling by train. He tried to express the feelings of the British youth of those times. Young people felt lost, misunderstood, but still free and excited. Back then, no one knew that the song would become a true hymn ofthe young and be a very long-lasting rock hit, as well as no one could imagine the incredible success the Who would reach as a band.

All the CSI series theme songs were written by Pete Townshend and performed by The Who. The original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation series theme song is "Who Are You". For CSI: Miami, the theme song is "Won't Get Fooled Again". The CSI: NY theme song is "Baba O'Riley.

Douglas Miller You make a lot of assumptions about someone you don't even know. I didn't have to Google anything to add that information. I pride myself on my ability to learn easily and retain that information. Furthermore, if you have something to say to me, man up and say it directly to me instead of your cowardly, passive-aggressive way of knocking someone. Does it bother you to think someone could possibly know something you don't without having to Google it first? Do you need to put someone else down in order to feel good about yourself?

My favorite British rock band of all time. Keith Moon was the BEST drummer in rock music, ever. John Entwistle, aka, Thunderfingers, and The Ox, was voted the #1 bassist in a Rolling Stone Readers Poll, and is consistently on Top Ten Lists. Their untimely deaths were severe blows to the band and to Rock. Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend have carried on the spirit of the band, and I hope that they can continue for a long time.
