Which battle, fought on October 25th, formed the basis of "the band of brothers"?
The "band of brothers" is a reference to the speech of Henry V to the outnumbered English forces before the battle of Agincourt on St Crispin's day:
Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.

Derek Beckett, I like Branagh because I find that the older versions of any Shakespeare plays tends to be too overacted...as was the trend years ago.
My very favorite version of Hamlet is the one Mel Gibson did. His scene on "TO BE OR NOT TO BE" is the most honest one I have ever seen...on film or on stage.
I do think he blasted out "mad" too early in the film instead of allowing it to slowly creep in...but that's OK.
