'Life's What You Make It' is the title of the autobiography written by Philip Schofield during 2020. The book details Schofield's private and public life, including his experience presenting several television shows, such as 'This Morning' (2002-present) and 'Dancing on Ice' (2006- present) with Holly Willoughby, and 'All Star Mr & Mrs' (2008-2016), 'The Cube' (2009-2015) and '5 Gold Rings' (2017-present).

Phillip Bryan Schofield was born on 1st April 1962 and grew up in Cornwall until the age of 19. He then moved with his family to New Zealand where he got his first presenting job on 'Shazam!' in 1982. After returning to the UK, he gained attention working for the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) as a children's presenter before moving on to daytime and evening programmes. As well as presenting, Schofield has starred in musicals, such as 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' (1991) and 'Doctor Dolittle' (1998).

Schofield is married to Stephanie Lowe and has two daughters. On 7th February 2020, Schofield surprised the nation when he came out as gay. He gave an interview on 'This Morning', stating that "with the strength and support of my wife and my daughters, I have been coming to terms with the fact that I am gay". Despite his sexuality, he remains happily married.
