Which country invented pokemon?
Pokemon was developed by Satoshi Tajiri (the CEO and founder of Game Freak, Inc. ). His fond childhood memories of gathering insects and watching monsters on Japanese television inspired him to create a video game inhabited by 150 animated creatures with unique personalities and distinctive powers. In his game, Tajiri shaped a world where monsters can be captured and then after trained to fight against other monsters. On February 27 1996, Nintendo launched Tajiri's game in Japan as a Game boy game called "Pocket Monsters"(known as Pokemon in most other countries now). The next day, CoroCoro Comics released a new comic series, "Pocket Monsters". The first comic's title was "Strange Pokemon Pippi" (Pippi is Clefairy in English).
