Which country won the most number of gold medals in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics?

The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, was an international multi-sport parasports event held from 24 August to 5 September 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. They were the 16th Summer Paralympic Games as organized by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).

The People's Republic of China won 96 gold medals in the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo. This was their tenth consecutive appearance in these games since 1984. The Chinese contingent consisted of 251 athletes and they competed in 20 out of 22 disciplines. China topped the medal table for the fifth consecutive time with a total of 207 medals. They had won 107 gold medals at the Rio 2016 Paralympics.
