Which of the five great lakes of North America is the largest?
The Great Lakes are the largest surface freshwater system on the Earth. Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes and ranks as the second largest lake in the world (by surface area). Most of the Superior basin is forested, with little agriculture because of a cool climate and poor soils.

The anwser is in the name. It is Superior to the rest of the lakes :)

At least the photo didn't give away the answer. Superior doesn't look anything like that but has its own magnificent shoreline. But

Technically, Lake Michigan and Huron are one lake, which would then be the biggest.
