Of all basketball players, retired or still active, Kareem-Abdul Jabbar at 38,387 has scored more points than any other player of the game.

Michael Jordan is currently in 4th place as an all time scorer at 32,292 points behind only Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone and Kareem-Abdul Jabbar. Wilt Chamberlain is in fifth place as a scorer at 31,419 career points. And LeBron James is currently in 25th place with 24,913 points but will surely more up the list before his career is completed.

When this question was initially entered 7 years ago, the record for scoring was seemingly safe with Karee-Abdul Jabbar. On 7 February 2023, LeBron James, then playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, became the new scoring leader. Admin needs to change the correct answer from option 2 to option 1. How fortunate for author Jim Moser to have put James as an option.
