Which of the following is a boy band?
One Direction, often shortened to 1D, are an English-Irish pop boy band formed in London, England in 2010. The group are composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson; former member Zayn Malik left the group in March 2015.
One Direction have released five hit albums, Up All Night (2011), Take Me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013), Four (2014), and Made in the A.M. (2015). The band has won numerous awards, among them six Billboard Music Awards, seven Brit Awards, seven American Music Awards and 28 Teen Choice Awards.

In reality they went into 'indefinite hiatus' in January 2016, so not sure that the question and answer phrased in the present tense is correct.

Wyla Reedy, If they're any good they may be around it seems 4 years, if they are any good. In not, 2 years and they are no more. Take that new boy band doing i-Phone ads, pop drinks, became a sensation just over a year or so ago now, (I don't know their name, Japanese I think) in 2 to 3 yrs. they won't be anymore.
