Should've perhaps mentioned where Epsom is, the town in which the sulfate was first discovered in the early 17th century. It is in the county of Surrey, England, UK.

I toss a handful around each rose bush once a month. The roses are in the middle of spring growth, lots of new leaf. I gave them all such a savage pruning, well worth it to be ruthless with roses.
