Which of these is the oldest running international beauty pageant?

Miss World is the oldest running international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Along with Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth, this pageant is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants—the most coveted beauty titles when it comes to international pageant competitions.

The current Miss World is Vanessa Ponce of Mexico who was crowned on 8 December 2018 in Sanya, China. She is the first Mexican woman to win Miss World.

The Miss World 2019 Pageant will be held on 14 December 2019 in London, England.

I grew up in a village of 1000 people and there was great excitement when one of the girls from the village was crowned Miss World. She was a few years older than me but our families went to the same church and her brother was only a year or two older than me so we knew the family well. She was doing some part time modelling while she studied to be a librarian and her agent suggested entering a beauty contest. She really was very beautiful and a lovely person but it was still a lovely surprise when she won.

donc, As there are by far more countries in the Northern Hemisphere it would be surprising indeed if the majority of questions were not concerning this region. Also I would expect that the Southern Hemisphere has a lot of well informed knowledgeable people that are good at quizzes !
