A professional team from Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Steelers, has set an absolute record and won 6 Super Bowls in total. Another team's record is hosting the most conference championship games in a number of 11. A usual practice for National Football League is to take names from baseball teams from the same region, so Steelers started as Pittsburgh Pirates in 1933, with a name taken from local baseball team.

Nope! The question asks what team won the most SUPER BOWLS! If the games were not called SUPER BOWLS, technically they don't apply to the question, so they don't count.

The correct answer is Green Bay Packers. The name was changed from NFL Championship to Super Bowl in 1966. The most wins therefore belong to the Packers.
