Which two U.S Presidents held office during World War II?

The two U.S. Presidents who held office during World War II were Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt won the election of 1940, and he was at the helm of the nation as it prepared for and entered World War II in 1941. Roosevelt was the only U.S. president to be elected four times; he served from 1933 until 1945. Harry S. Truman was his Vice President when he died. President Roosevelt, who had been a victim of Polio early in life, died in office in April 1945. President Harry S. Truman assumed the Office of Presidency and was the president when World War II came to an end.

Oh, I remember it well. FDR announcing Pearl Harbor, then when I was 13 I stayed home from school with a cold, was listening to Ma Perkins, (soap opera) on the radio when they announced FDR death and Truman's swearing in. My three siblings were all overseas at the time in WWii. I will never forget.

I knew 100% for sure it wasn't Herbert Hoover 1923-1929 . WW 2 hadn't even started when Hoover was President. Eisenhower was President during the Korean War

The fact is that if "tourists" tried to drop in on Camp David, they'd likely be shot, or at least detained and prosecuted. BTW, when FDR was there it was called Shangrila, not Camp David.
