'Cars' is a 2006 movie made by Pixar about a race car called Lightning McQueen, who is on his way to California, USA, to race for the Piston Cup. He gets lost on the way and finds himself in Radiator Springs, a fictional town on Route 66. There, he makes new friends who help him get to his Piston Cup race. Lightning McQueen is also the star of the two sequels, 'Cars 2' (2011) and 'Cars 3' (2017).

Montgomery "Lightning" McQueen is an anthropomorphic car voiced by Owen Wilson. The character is named after Pixar animator Glenn McQueen who died in 2002. The car looks like a hybrid between a stock car and a Le Mans endurance race car. Lightning McQueen has a red body with the number 95 painted on the sides. The number was chosen in honour of the release year of Pixar's first film, 'Toy Story'.

Owen Cunningham Wilson (born 1968) is an Academy Award-nominated American actor.
