Who is Jack Ely?

Jack Ely was one of the founders of the Kingsmen band in 1959. They are famous for their cover of Richard Berry's "Louie Louie" single. It was released in 1963 and became a hit immediately! It held the second position in the charts for 6 weeks, which is amazing.
