Who is this musician?

John Cowan Hartford was a well-known American composer and musician. He played folk, country and bluegrass, and was a renowned master of the fiddle and banjo. Hartford was best known as a talented solo multi-instrumentalist, also performing with various ensembles. He also created his own shuffle tap dance move, and clogged on an amplified piece of plywood while he played and sang.
