Greer Garson (29 September 1904 – 6 April 1996), was an Anglo-American actress who was extremely popular during the WWII, being listed by the Motion Picture Herald as one of America's top-ten box office draws from 1942 to 1946. She was named one of the main stars of the 1940s and was given 7 Oscar nominations. She won an award for her role in the 1942 film Mrs. Miniver. Greer is also famous for receiving 5 consecutive Academy Award nominations.

Garson's loyal fans often loved her for her outstanding and self-sacrificing portrayals, as well as for her unrivaled beauty.

I got it right, but Irene Dunn also had a long thin nose and brown wavy hair. They have similar features.

Not sure why "Anglo" is attached to "American." Seems a little progressive for her time, but it also seems like a good idea to attach that to every white person. . . Anglo American, African American, Asian American, etc. Keeps things equal at least on paper.

Mrs. Miniver was cited by Winston Churchill as one of the most uniting forces for the British during WWII. It was indeed inspiring and a true work of art, unlike the horse crap that passes for entertainment today.
