Errol Flynn was an Australian-American actor. He was lucky to become an immediate sensation at the very beginning of his acting career. Errol often played swashbucklers, creating unique images and re-inventing the whole action genre by that. He often worked with the recognized director Michael Curtiz (such films as The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936, The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), The Sea Hawk (1940) and other motion pictures.

In collaboration with Hollywood's best fight arrangers, Flynn became noted for fast-paced sword fights. He also demonstrated an acting range beyond action-adventure roles in light contemporary social comedies and melodrama.
