Born on January 24, 1977, in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, Chad Hurley is the co-founder and former CEO of the video-sharing website YouTube.com. After college, Hurley worked at eBay's PayPal division before collaborating with co-workers Steve Chen and Jawed Karim to create YouTube in 2005. Business 2.0 magazine ranked Hurley No. 28 on its 2006 list of "50 People Who Matter." That same year, he and Chen sold YouTube to Google for $1.65 billion in stock.
