Dolph Lundgren portrayed He-Man in the 1987 science fantasy film "Masters of the Universe". He belongs to a generation of film actors who epitomize the live action hero stereotype.
Lundgren's acting breakthrough came when he starred in "Rocky IV" in 1985 as the imposing Russian boxer Ivan Drago. Since then, he has starred in more than 40 films, almost all of them in the live action genre.

I watched a Ted Talk he did once and it was actually quite fascinating, he shared a wonderful but sad story. He learned how to fight because he wanted to learn how to protect himself from his abusive father.
