George I was born in Hanover (Germany) in 1660 and was the direct heir of Queen Anne when she died in 1714. George was born in Hanover (Germany)and inherited the titles and lands from his father and uncles. At the age of 54, after the death of Queen Anne of Great Britain, George ascended the British throne as the first monarch of the House of Hanover. George was Queen's closest living Protestant relative.

The question reads, 'Who was the LAST BUT ONE British King to be born outside of (sic) Great Britain?' The answer is not George II - who was the last British King born outside Great Britain, George I is correct.

This question is totally incorrect; George II was norn in Hanover, Germany and since you didn’t have the correct answer as a choice you had s 50/50 chance of guessing the incorrect answer. Who edits these questions?
