Who were the Architects of the Taj Mahal ?
The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Ustad Isa and Ustad Ahmad Lahauri are credited to have been the main architects. It is believed that their design embodied much of what the Emperor wanted to express.

The main architect was Ustad Amhad Lahori; you spelled his name incorrectly and gave the other man equal credit when almost ALL of the planning and designing was done by Lahori himself!

Jacqueline Tattam, i have read the love story about the mogul ruler Shah Jahan and his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is a fantastic story but also very sad.
